  1. Great looking project! I know these are going to be sailing/rowing dingies so I assume that means they get a centerboard trunk at some point. If so, the trunk needs to be at least as high as the toe rail. I was once in an overloaded sailing dingy and we came very close to swamping because the centerboard trunk was a few inches lower than the toe rail and the toe tail was just above the water line. Water almost came up through the trunk and into the dingy.
