Stowaway

So we find this snake on our boat…or rather, Tig found it under the strawberry plants while puttering around. He captured it with a net, placed it in a bucket and took a picture. Then he came down to ID it (is there an app for that?)

We think it’s a ribbon snake. By the time he went up, it had vanished (cue eerie music). Just another day living aboard.

  1. Hi guys,

My wife and I have been following your adventures for a few months now. We came to Annapolis this weekend to buy our first cruising boat and when we walked down to the slip on Back creek, you guys were anchored right off the end of our dock! How cool. We have two small kids, Jack is 3 and Jill is 7 months. Sorry we didn’t get a chance to come out and say hi, but if you make it back here we will definitely stop over. Thanks so much for letting us be a part of your lives and for the inspiration to do what we are doing!

    1. So glad you spotted us. Annapolis is a great place to start cruising with kids. We just had a raft up this weekend with 3 other boat families who plan on cruising soon. We’re still around in the Chesapeake and will be until the end of the month.
