Boatwork Monday: Lifeline netting

Our boat came with two packages of lifeline netting, just enough to net the sides by the cockpit.

Some people net the entire perimeter of their boat. Others believe it creates a false sense of security and complacency. Since we already had two packages, we used them by the cockpit sides.

We spend a lot of time coaching V to step on and off the boat carefully. But to be honest, nothing will ever set my mind at ease other than constant vigilance.
