Paper crowns

Last Thursday, I had the day off when Tig was babysitting. It was raining so we found a fun little toddler activity in the book Great Explorations.

The kids drew on some long strips of paper with crayons and colored pencils.

The book called for collage materials, but we kept it simple because of their age and attention span. Tig let them embellish the crowns with some scraps of aluminum foil. Then we loosely measured around their heads and stapled the paper together to make a crown.

A small, fun activity they enjoyed.
