This weekend, we were invited to a liveaboard brunch at the Constitution Marina. Our old neighbors Tim and Lauren wanted to introduce us to some other liveaboards and show us around. We partied on some fancy yachts with our two kids, toured the docks, and talked to a young couple who was about to have a baby soon.
The trip re-ignited Tig’s dream of becoming a liveaboard family. I’ve always loved the idea of tiny homes and simple living and have been following boat mama blog Zach Aboard, but the realities of boat living intimidate me. Still, I’m open to where this dream may lead us.
Right now we are in the research and exploration phase, with a 2-5 year timeline for moving onto a sailboat.
