Natural sandpit tutorial

Start with a pile of free logs from around the neighborhood.

Chop them up into different lengths with a borrowed electric chainsaw.

Arrange them in a tight circle. You can even notch the sides so they fit tightly together. I requested that one log be placed on its side for easier entry.

Add play sand, hand-me-down tools, and friends. Mix well and enjoy.
